The Silent Kiss Beneath the Mask Hahnemühle German Etching Print
Description
This work captures a kiss that almost happens, yet remains suspended. The two faces are cut, folded, and reconstructed like masks, their eyes swallowed by shadow, turning intimacy into a muted ritual rather than a direct encounter. The woman’s body is composed through blue, orange, and red planes, while the man is wrapped in darkness and linear textures, suggesting both protection and control. The piece portrays love as a nearness between masks: the closer two figures become, the harder it is to know which face is real.
All our prints are available on a range of matt and lustre finishes, each carefully profiled for fantastically accurate and consistent reproductions using giclée printing techniques.
